Tour Plan

DAY 01 RLY STATION / IXB AIRPORT – GANGTOK (125KMS / 05HRS)

pickup and a ride to Gangtok from the Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station
Meet and greet at the Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station after which the journey commences.
Duration: 5hrs
Distance: 128 kms to Gangtok (5,500ft.)
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 02 - TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR – GANGTOK (55 KMS ONE WAY)

A trip to Tsomgo Lake and its nearby attractions
Destination: Tsomgo Lake (12,400ft) and 34 kms from Gangtok
Duration: Depends on the weather but normally 3hrs
Trip Description: After a hearty breakfast start the tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400ft, 34km). The lake is 1 km long, oval in shape and 50 ft deep. Here you can witness snow, snowfall (if you’re +lucky) & Yak Riding. Visit to the legendary Baba Mandir. (Optional tour to Nathula Pass (The Indo-China border) depends upon the availability of permit which costs an additional of Rs.3500-4500 per vehicle (Monday the pass is closed).
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 03 Gangtok to Pelling via (Namchi and Ravangla Extra Basis.)

Description of the tour: After breakfast proceed towards Pelling via Namchi and visit Samdruptse, Siddheswar Dham (replica of Char-Dham), Ravangla Buddha Park and drive towards Pelling. Overnight stay at Pelling.
(Extra Cab 3000 small cab ka and 3500 Innova/Xylo)

DAY 04 Pelling Local sightseeing - Darjeeling

Sightseeing at Pelling and Darjeeling drop
Description of the tour: After breakfast start for a half day sightseeing. Visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Palace Ruins and skywalk after that drive towards Darjeeling. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

DAY 05 Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Darjeeling Sightseeing Pickup and Drop from the hotel
Starting time: Early morning (if you are to see the sunrise)
Destination: Tiger Hills, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and others.
Description of the tour: Early morning tour to Tige_r Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 metres at around 4 AM) to see the sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop.
After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person and is closed on 19th of every month) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate.
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

DAY 06 Darjeeling - Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station

After your breakfast check out from the hotel and take the departure transfer to New Jalpaiguri Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey with unlimited memory of Darjeeling Tour.
